The novaalert mobileAPP prioritises two factors over all others: safety and reliability. The novaalert mobileAPP is based on a patented communication algorithm that guarantees fast, secure and at the same time battery-saving data communication. The entire interaction is transmitted in encrypted form.
The alarm app not only monitors the available networks (GSM 2G – 5G and WiFi), it also automatically selects the most suitable transmission format.
Enormous alerting capacity
Thanks to direct and parallel data connections between all smartphones and the alarm server, hundreds of people can be alerted via the app within seconds.

Secure communication via the DMZ
The novaalert proxy service ensures secured communication via the DMZ. The proxy service also supports multiple access points and redundant systems.
Multimedia alarm messages
The novaalert mobileAPP lets you add freely definable attachments alongside the alarm text. A wide range of file formats such as .pdf, .doc, .jpg, .bmp, .wav etc., websites or video streams as well as dynamic localisation maps (building plans or satellite images) can be automatically displayed upon alarm input if desired.
Management / configuration
All parameters are defined centrally on the novaalert server. The novaalert administrator inputs all configurations and pushes these to the novaalert mobileAPP. The alarm app is optimised for coordination with mobile device management systems (MDM/EMM).

Triggering alarms
The novaalert mobileAPP makes triggering alarms an intuitive process. Individual text modules can be used to formulate concise alarm messages in the shortest possible time. PIN-protected alarms prevent alarm activation by unauthorised individuals. The alarm history is displayed in real time. The administrator can define individual access rights per user.
Receiving alarms
All information about the event is displayed in a clear manner for the recipient, who can immediately acknowledge the message. Different ring tones and volume levels can be set to indicate the respective priority levels of the received messages.

All information related to the alarms is stored in the alarm history.
Real-time monitor:
The status of the triggered alarms is displayed in real time. The user can see at a glance who has received and acknowledged the alarm – and can thus immediately identify any staffing shortages.
Interactive alarms
While an interactive alarm is active, users can receive and send any number of messages to update each other about this alarm. In addition, specially defined actions can be triggered during an interactive alarm, e.g. summoning additional personnel, opening gates, initiating alarm conferences, etc.
Logging in/out
Users can log in to/out of the service in a matter of seconds (with just a fingertip). The log in/log out function provides an overview of all services or alarm groups and shows users at a glance the groups to which they are currently logged in. Each time a user logs in or out, they can also see all other group members currently on duty.
Users can log in/out either via the mobileAPP or using contactless technology (NFC tag). Simply by scanning the tag, the user is automatically logged in to/out of one or more groups.
The alarm app with novaCHAT-Messenger
The novaCHAT messenger is fully integrated in the novaalert mobileAPP. All data transmissions are encrypted and all data is stored on the customer’s server, without exception. This guarantees the security of valuable internal company data. With novaCHAT you are always connected to your colleagues and can quickly solve problems, exchange ideas or plan projects together. Its intuitive operation will be familiar to anyone who has used a messaging app. novaChat also lets you create separate group and alarm chats.

The “Security Option” transforms your Android smartphone into a state-of-the-art personal emergency signaling device in accordance with the DGUV 112-139, SUVA and AUVA guidelines, which can be used for lone-worker protection.

Location tracking – GPS, novaBEACON, WiFi
When a mobile alarm is triggered, it is important that help arrives as soon as possible. To ensure this is the case, the responders need to know the exact location of the person concerned.
Geofencing
The integrated geofencing function makes it possible assign an unambiguous name to any outdoor area. It also allows an alarm to be triggered upon entering or leaving a specific area.

– iPhone: the novaalert mobile APP is available for all iPhones which (according to Apple) are compatible with the latest iOS operating system and have the latest version of iOS installed.
Unlisted or newer operating systems are not supported.
The app is usually updated with support for newer Android and iPhone operating systems 4 weeks after their official release date.
